Soil Contamination & Remediation — Western NSW

Some problems aren't in the building; they're in the ground underneath it. Old shed sites and burnt-out buildings: the soil can be carrying more than you think. We remove contaminated soil properly, dispose of it at licensed facilities, and leave you with a clean site. What we handle

• Burnt-out buildings and their surrounds, fire residue and damaged asbestos in the soil, cleaned out properly
• Asbestos-impacted soil, Demolition debris in the ground. Asbestos-impacted soil is treated under the strictest procedures: removed, not scraped around, and taken to licensed facilities.

How it works

1. Site inspection and free quote. We look at the site, what's in the ground, and what needs to come out.
2. Removal and excavation. Contaminated material is dug out, including bulk excavations and compaction where the site needs to be built back up.
3. Licensed disposal with paperwork. Everything goes to licensed facilities.

Our licence

Contaminated soil work sits on top of our demolition and asbestos licences for a reason: in NSW, asbestos-impacted soil is treated as friable asbestos. That means the work falls under the strictest rules in the book, and it's covered by our Class A asbestos removal licence (AD212099).

We also hold the demolition licence (AD203949), issued by SafeWork NSW, plus $20 million public and products liability and $10 million asbestos removal liability. If the ground under an old building is part of the problem, we're licensed to deal with the whole job (the building and the dirt) the same way we handle asbestos removal on its own.
